The Cornerstone team delivered a complete hydraulic and drainage fit-out for Mercatus Deli in Brisbane City, supporting the creation of a refined, high-functioning hospitality space within a busy CBD environment. Known for its offering of premium deli goods, fresh food, coffee, and takeaway options, the venue required a well-planned and reliable service infrastructure to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Cornerstone installed full hot and cold water services throughout the tenancy, designed to support a wide range of equipment including coffee machines, ice machines, dishwashers, and a combi oven. Systems were carefully configured to ensure consistent performance across food preparation, service, and cleaning areas.

Drainage formed a key component of the project, with elevated systems installed to suit the tenancy layout and integrate with base building services. This included connections for multiple fixtures, tundish points, and floor wastes, all delivered with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and clean integration within the space. Core drilling and service penetrations were coordinated to meet structural requirements, with passive fire protection installed to all penetrations.

Fit-off works were completed across servery and kitchen areas, including connections for specialised equipment and fixtures, ensuring all services aligned with the final design and operational layout. Each element was installed with precision to support both functionality and the overall finish of the venue.
